ELSA - EPFL: Focus on student and work permits for non-EU/EFTA PhD and Post-docs

I am pleased to inform you that I will be delivering a workshop focusing on student and work permits for non-EU/EFTA PhD and postdoctoral researchers.

This event is organised by the EPFL Scientific Staff Association (ELSA ex ACIDE).

The workshop aims to provide more information on :

• The status of PhD students and postdocs ;

• You will better understand your migration status and your rights, which will depend on the purpose of your stay (whether it is for study or work) ;

• Are your work contract and permit about to expire? The conditions that must be met in order to receive unemployment benefits will be explained.
